This is my first summer here in florida with the S2k. It feels sluggish, is it the heat soak in the engine bay thats making the car a little less efficient in performance.

 

yes. Do the hondata gasket mod. I just did it about 2 weeks ago, and I'm absolutely floored at the improvement in performance. The engine acts like its 50 degrees outside. NO engine bog whatsoever, even sitting in stop and go traffic. It used to bog horribly.

 

what is all involved in the hondata gasket mod?

 

Also consider a cold air intake and a heat shield from ZTEC Industries... removes a LOT of heat bog, too.

 

i haven't put on my hondata gasket yet, but since i put on my cai my car hasn't bogged from heat at all. I was very suprised and happy.

 

Does Hondata make a gasket to put bewteen my arse and the leather seats because DAAAAAAAAMN it hurt the other day!!!!!
