Default Hit a Dog.....

there was actually 2 dogs in the road...one ran one way the other ran the other way and then doubled back to follow the other dog. my only other option was the ditch, and ive heard so many stories of people wraping their cars around trees to avoid hitting an animal. i felt worse about hitting the dog than i did about the damage to my car. $2500.00 worth of damage. this actually happened about a month ago but im just now getting around to posting it. the dog was a full grown rot, about 65 lbs. insurance said it was an act of god and covered the claim.

It sucks that you hit the dog but it is still better than risking your own life. just my .02.

I would rather go into a ditch than have the guilt of killing a dog my whole life. These things can happen so fast and you just never know how you're gonna react until it actually happens.

I'll get over the guilt in three months if I hit the dog... if I take the ditch route, I may not live long enough to feel any guilt at all...

sure. go into a ditch and snag the ground and flip your car over. Better to let the dog feel the guilt than you i guess......

It comes down to what you believe in.

Sorry to hear about hitting the dog.

If I find the ole pics of me hitting a 300 pound deer hitting my 96 accord at 75 mph I will post them.
Your car made out just fine. Glad to hear you are ok.
Life happens unfortuntatly.

that statement is a matter of perspective. Life ends unfortunately too.

Not making too light of the subject. A part of me dies everytime I hit a critter on the road.

Sad but the car is relatively ok and you are safe so.... but at the same time
