they always come back...

anywho Scorpion, i dont think u should quit them all together just because people like to bitch and moan. its comes with all things in life and by our forum site being so vast in age. me 18 and i know someone was in their 60's. its only natural for some people to feel like the parent of the group and try to teach them the error of their ways. personally idc what people do as long as no one gets hurt. we all have a free will to do as we please, but were all sinners on this forum i find it sad many cast stones. but dont lower urself to them by quiting. the drives are meant to be fun and exciting. so we have a few bumps were still getting the hang of it. this was what our second one? my first one? were still learning. i think u'll find even thou there is bull drama at the end of the day it was still amazing and frankly the greatest day of my life.

i hope u dont quit coming to group events or drives or w/e they are. for were a community essentially and we all need to learn from each other. a community is only as strong as its weakest link.
As one of, or the only 60's, in the bunch???, I totally agree with you as to the bitching on the threads after an event. But maybe those doing the bitching will get the point that we are tired of it. Hang in there and maybe we can effect some changes. I LOVE the meets and the guys like you there. If the guys like you drop out, then I have no choice but to drop out too. And I don't want to go there!

For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism.

Even my wife subscribes to this forum...she says it has more drama than her soaps.

I understand where you are coming from Scorpion. This forum has changed too much for the worse even since I joined. I too am terribly tired of listening to people tell me how to behave as are numerous others. It is definitely a sad day to see you go if you must. However, I understand. I hope to see you again and introduce myself more formally. James.

Thus why I prefer autocrossing over group drives...you don't get an explosion of emotions and opinions after a real race...you have drivers, and those of us that are still learning to drive competitively. That's it. No BS. No Arguing. No drama. Orange cones never lie.

Ugh i hear ya brian, alotta bitching and crying lately, wasnt always like that. Some times ya really gotta just not even post cause theres always that one piss ant thats gotta say that negative last word. My car was still under the knife for the drive and i would have loved to have been there reguardless. Dont bail on the group cause of some jack asses who like to stir shit, too many of those piss ants have been tolerated and when they are , we loose good guys like you , and viper to name a few. I got no beef with anyone around here, but its a shame to see people not getting along when we have a huge passion in common, the S2000.

This isn't the way, bro.

Call me if we need to get on the same page. I know I quoted some of your phrases but I had some tough decisions to make and wrote from an emotional perspective.

I dont like the idea of one of the best people in our group withdrawing over something like this.

That applies to all of you considering the same fate. We have too good of a mix at hand to have something like this create a schism.

It is not just the drive post but most post. You can't have an opion without getting slammed on the boards.

Some people don't know much about what they talk about but bitch about something. Your post about the drive opened eyes to PC. Some rules are O.K. to violate and some are not O.K. O.K. to speed and drift but not to flip off people.

Please come out to events but maybe not the drives. I think the drives will planned for rural areas with less spirited driving. More fun meets and less performance meets. Can't wait to see you drag. Let me know when you are going again.
