I've had enough
I've been watching this thread with a fair amount of amusement. I'll be the first to call out lane crossers; I let speeders slide if they're smooth, in control, and don't cross the double yellow. Is that a double standard? In some views, sure.
However... I hope I never personally see you cross the double yellow at the Gap. I do, on a regular basis, run through there without exceeding the speed limit. Yet I still manage to outpace most people from one end to the other. Why? Because I find it more of a challenge to do the entire length without touching the brakes. Someone speeding does not present a danger to me; someone crossing into my lane does.
Lane crossing kills. Don't be an a$$hat.

I agree im sick of this bullshit over the internet if you dont have the balls to say it to there face dont say it at all
ishbu - there is a proverbial line besides the actual double ones. Like I was saying in a previous post ... the law you break that only endangers yourself ... hey, have at it.
But, breaking a law (rule, guidline, understood standard, etc) that would endanger someone else is where I draw the line. That's the idea i'm trying to push here ... and with all the other misdirected responses ... it's really hard to figure out who agrees with that and who doesn't.
In my mind that is the biggest issue here. Do you want to risk just your own life ... or somebody elses. One is suicidal ... the other is murder (i was really trying not use that extreme verse ... but that's the reality)

You got it!
.
I hope so. As long as nobody posts "It's soo cool to cross double yellows and use the whole road" you won't hear a peep out of me. That's about the only thing that makes my blood boil. Well, that and personal attacks.
