B,

Do what you gotta do, you'll be missed, but I'll still see you at the shop!

dude.. i don't think any of us want to see you go. But ultimately that's your call.

People are going to disagree, and I applaud them for having the balls to post how they feel about something. We can't all expect to agree on everything.

I am all about high performance driving. That's why I purchased this car in the first place. I invite you to come out to GIR and really see what you and your car are made of. There's a big difference between "spirited" driving and leaving it all out on the track. It's tons of fun, and I promise nobody will comment on anyone's bad driving... unless it's akin to Driving Miss Daisy.

Anyway, it's your call mang. But if you leave this forum, you will be missed.

uhhhmm ok.

Aren't you causing drama right now though?

Anyways, everyone has different opinions on different things, that's part of life. If you don't want to read those opinions, don't click on the threads when you start seeing those posts.

Sorry that all of our opinions don't conform to yours. Personally, I think it's great that there are differing opinions on this topics, this forum would be pretty damn boring otherwise.

^^I agree with Dave.

Variety is the spice of life. Maybe you should just take a vacation from the boards. Take a month or two off from S2000 stuff. Then you can come back with renewed enthusiasm, and take what people say and do on here with a grain of salt.

It's not a differance of opinion, if that's all it was I'd be fine with it. Hell I like to argue as much has the next guy. The problem for me is dealing with all the nut jobs that think they are above the rest of us. The ones that "do no wrong" and are always the first ones to step on the soapbox, even though they themselves are not perfect. It just gets annoying.

I'm still planning on being on the boards, that'll probably never change. But by not going to these types of events I can avoid the situations that piss me off the most. Sure there will still be postes about it, but I won't feel obligated to read them because I wasn't there.

Brian, while I do not like confrontation, we all know the few guys that are putting up the "do good" threads, the "reprimand" threads, the "better than thou" threads," etc.; threads that do nothing but hurt feelings and cause resentment and cause good guys like you to leave. You know on my second group drive a video was put up of me running and guys who were not even at the meet crucified me for crossing the yellow line, from simply watching a video for gosh sakes! My son on his second group drive was cruified for dangerous passing when his only choice to avoid being reprimanded was to die ! On the last drive the guy was cruified for shooting a bird (by the way I am a 'closet" bird shooter myself).

Maybe we ought to ask those few who are "better than thou" to knock it off so the rest of us can enjoy the meets and the videos without fear of being flamed. I am all for safety and I think a lot about whether or not I want to continue. And I also am mature enough to take criticism when criticism is due. But lately it has been simply too much.

Maybe we ought to call a spade a spade and ask those, even if they are organizers, to cut the crap and give us all a break. What do you think?

And yes, I konw I am adding to the drama, but we need some sort of resolution!

I'll continue to call the vidoes as I see it. I don't think there is anywhere on this site you can post a video of lane crossing without being flamed. And rightfully so IMO. It's just common knowledge.

Go ahead, try it. Post the video in the gallery. Or better yet in the Dragon section. Put your flame suit on. It's not just a few people in Florida that know how to drive spiritedly, it's the majority of this site.
