FL is a no income state tax state. Not sure about VA. Aside from a pay bump you may also save taxes.
Great point, I forgot about that one!

I used to live in southern Maryland (almost Virginia) when I worked for the DoD. DC is nice. Pretty. I miss it there.

Good luck in FL. You're going to get robbed.

Just make sure you can park your car in a garage and get a good alarm and you'll be fine. Nobody wants to steal blue seats anyway You don't happen to speak spanish do you? haha.

the theft is an issue with unprotected cars . My car is outside 24 hours a day (and night for the wise guys) and I have not had any issues with theft of the S . My brother has an 06 with an alarm and has also had no issues . An alarm and seat lock should serve your needs . Just make sure to get a good alarm and Mitch can probably steer you in the right direction there .

FYI the hard top can be stolen just as easy as the seats . If you get the hard top I think there is a security bar that can be used to prevent theft . Corect me if I am wrong . Good luch with your decision

Take a hard look at the income. I know DC is increadibly expensive, but Miami is waaay up there too.

If you have the means though...look at buying a house. The housing market in Miami is collapsing hard and there are deals to be had for sure.

Not in SoFla...but Sartis snagged a great house for an unbelievable price a couple hrs north of Miami.
