I'd stay away from the historic district downtown. I heard there's some crazy man named Nick who lives there in a purple house!

Totally kidding! The historic district is beautiful, although I doubt there are many condos or townhomes there.

I'm guessing you're on the younger side of the S club, say mid 20's? No offense to the older side because with age comes knowledge and experience. Anywho.... I would probably look for student oriented housing. I live in "The Pointe", a student apartment complex right next to USF in Tampa. The rent is amazingly low and the gated parking lot kinda makes me not worry about the S too badly. And since you're attending UTI the move is probably temporary?

Then on the otherside, if your Hella-Rich or mom and dad are picking up the tab, I'm sure Nick (ztec) will get you hooked up with a sweet pad and a roomy garage.

Thanks for the help guys. My name is Tom, age 21. I'm Half Korean and Half Caucasian if anyone was wondering. My mom just recently told me to find some real estate places in Orlando. She told me she should would buy me a townhouse, and when i finish school or move back to Virginia then we may just rent the home out. Her and my dad just recently bought a few homes in Virginia and are renting them out. My dad and i leave tomorrow morning 9/14/05 to Orlando to talk with the school and find housing for me. I was thinking of moving into student housing, but i haven't been down there to check out the school yet. Some of the cheaper apartments i have been finding thru the school don't look to trusting. Some of them look like old motels converted into apartments. One i found was hella cheap but in the picture there was a cop car sitting in front which i found rather odd.

Thanks for all the help guys

Hey. I am going to be leaving to Orlando on the weekend of October 8th. May not be in my apartment til Monday 10th. looking to meet some s2k owners down in Orlando. I am going to be living in the Hunter's Creek area. I'm enrolled to start school at U.T.I.(Universal Technical Institute) in November. I will be looking for a job in the area around the Orlando Airport. Anyone have any suggestions? Any help is appreciated. Where are some good shops in Orlando area? Any good car shows around besides in Tampa.don't have much time or money to commute there trying to find some locals. hit me up or email me at juniorgong504@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Tom

waterford lake area is really nice, but maybe pricy now not sure. I would also look near hiawassee (sp?). The market seems to be pretty good there.
