Anyone here have an info on road course racing in S.Fla? My boss and a few of his friends want to get into it rather than doing the 1/4mile all the time. His buddies have M3s, S2Ks, T/A WS6s..etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

 

Well the only group down here who does that on a regular basis is Equipe Rapide. They run autoxes and speedtrials. The courses are setup with cones in huge parking lots. They had an event this weekend. For more information go to autox.carlc.com.

Additionally Chin Motorsports (www.chinmotorsports.com) sponsors some track days and what not. Not all are in Florida, but you can check that out as well. Their days include instruction, and feature some great circuits.

Chin Motorsports holds about 10-12 track events per year at road course venues such as Homestead-Miami Speedway (2.5miles), Sebring (3.7 miles), Roebling Road (2miles) and Atlanta Motor Speedway (2.5 miles).

These are driving schools and do not feature racing. We teach high performance driving in a safe environment.
