Recommendation needed for DSLR
Nikon D60. If you are looking for an entry-level DSLR. I love mine. It replaced my old N65 35mm... Great camera.
If you do go Nikon, get the VR lenses for any zoom past about 80mm... Really helps stabilize the shot.
The D90 is a larger body than the D60, but can use older AF Nikon lenses (cheaper than the newer AF-S ones). The larger body houses the motors for the auto-focus, which are incorporated into the AF-S lenses... apparently...
And I think the D90 takes HD video...
