Default Shiny Alternators

I'm exploring the idea of having my alternator polished. I'm trying to get a price now.
Anyone else want to be shiny?

I did mine myself but the alternator I got wasn't producing enough amps so it is in the bucket waiting until I get another alternator to swap the casing with.

After polishing my knob for 6 months, I'm tired of polishing. They do a supra alternator for 125 bucks. I'll gladly pay you that or a little more to polish my alternator at S&R.

Good Morning,

First I would like to thank you for choosing Mirror Finish Polishing as your polishing source.

We have polished many alternators before similiar to yours and I can assure you that your alternator will come out beautiful after our unique polishing process! Below are just a few sample photos of an intake manifold that we just finished up for a customer...obviously this intake is different than your intake, but it is simply just a sample of the Mirror Finish Quality we get once everything is finished.

On our website we have 100's of photos of parts including parts just like what you want polished...Here is our website if you would like to view hundreds of different photo samples:http://www.mirrorfinishpolishing.com/

Prices seem very reasonable to me and their work looks great. At those prices you'd be crazy to bother doing it yourself with time and materials. I initially took my valve cover locally to Mario's Metals and they were insane $$.

I have another car to drive but going 3-4 weeks "or so" without the S in this beautiful weather is a really tough sell for me ....

I'd be inclined to wait until August when it's 95 and raining every afternoon, and send them a bunch of stuff at once (intake, alt, etc).

Love to see the results if you have it done!
