do not file a claim with your insurance company!

File a claim with the insurance company of the girl that hit you. As soon as she admits she backed into your car it becomes her expense and issue. Her insurance company should be paying your bills, not your insurance company.

Go to the most expensive paint shop you can find and have them do the estimate. Either use them or a different place and use the rest for mods!

Well I do not know what she said to the officer or to her insurance company. It's more a "he said, she said" thing since the cop couldn't cite her a ticket. I already started a claim through mine b/c I have to get it fixed and that was the next logical step, see what they're going to do.

I do know that she filed a claim (though I didn't see any damage on her parent's car) b/c her company called me this morning to ask me what happened. I was like, "She hit me." Duh!

I swear by Brennan Autobody off of Mercy Drive. I have seen their work on an S2000 that is extensively damaged and they did work on my car.

The address is 4198 Mercy Industrial Court, and the phone number is (407) 295-6642.

Sorry to see your accident. If you will be at the meet tonight, I would be happy to talk to you about a strategy for dealing with the insurance company.

Otherwise, feel free to send me a P.M., and I will give you my office phone number.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I'm Thraak the one that has the red s2000 that was a paintball target. I was crushed.

Triman is right. Brennan's will do an awesome job. They are not happy unless you are 100% satisfied. Speak to Dan, (the owner). They are a certified Mercedes repair shop. I have State Farm and they would have rather had me taken it one of their shops but I was persistant. When their adjuster came out, she estimated my damage for $100 less than what Brennan was charging (I think it is customary), but then they just did a supplemental claim and I just paid my $500 deductible.

Good Luck wherever you take it to.

Thraak

p.s. Yarbrough is right, the calipers are looking great!!!
