There has been some discussion about cleaning up our stickies. I believe that some of the stickies are no longer useful and need to be removed. If you vote please put an explanation behind your vote. If you have something constructive to say, say it.
I believe since the CO's are elected by us, they should listen to us.

1) There are so many S2000's now that sightings are just not that special any more.
2) There is already a S2KI gallery
3) The resource thread is of little use to me since it is mostly for the Central Florida region.
4) This sticky is never utilized by the meet organizers and is therefore a waste of space.

 

I would vote for #'s 2,3 & 4 to be removed. #1 could also go. If we were only wanting three to be removed to make room for the Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa Weekly Meet Schtickys, I would rather see the Florida Events removed rather than the Sightings Schticky.

The Florida Events is basically the Weekly meets. If someone new came on the site, they would think that Orlando always meets @ Jax in College Park. There is not much more ever added. If there was an event that needed to be added, it usually has its' own thread.

Once again, no big deal, just a little spare time as we are not at the Dragon.

I say get rid of 2 and 3, but make the calendar something we can edit, not just the CO's...I'd like to be able to input the SCCA events, but I cant...and if the CO's are feeling lazy, then...

 

 

Or you could PM one of the CO's that info.


*I've stated before that Orlando/Tampa/Jacksonville all need their own Weekly Meet Thread stickied.

A majority of us have found the events calendar is pointless. It doesn't provide any info that isn't already in the thread. Also, there is never so much going on that we need a calendar to organize it. If an event is important, it will be on the first page and not terribly difficult to find.

I voted to get rid of all of them. I'd definitely lose "Sightings" and the "Central Florida Resource Thread" but that's just me. If you're really dying to sticky something I'd put up the weekly meets. At least that's something that will be frequently used.

If you are going to sticky local meets you need some kind of requirement to be eligible for "stickiage" so people won't be crying that there area isn't represented. Something like pictures from 4 consecutive meets with 8-10 (or more) S2000's represented.
