What's your point Dave?
Point is you made a poll-but you didn't list all the choices, IE the choices I listed above.

1-Jacksonville Meet Thread
2-Orlando Meet Thread
3-Tampa Meet Thread
4-Introduce Yourself/Gallery Thread (merging of 2 threads)
5-S2000 Sightings

PermaPinned
6-Selling Rules
7-Event Calendar

What would you change from my suggestion? Every area of FL/FL gets their own sticky?

Thumbs down

James,

run this thread the way you see fit and report to us what you want done when the poll is concluded. I don't think that anyone has a problem considering any issue brought up and we will all deliberate and do what is deemed necessary and right.

This is not a dictatorship by any means but it was never said to be a true republic or democracy either.

We should make changes and listen to the will of the people but let me make a singular point:

Just because someone makes a poll and people vote to do something in this forum does it make policy or actionable??

If I started a poll to shut down all threads after 15 posts and it was voted on and won by a majority vote, should it be sumarilly passed and put into effect??

You do have say in all matters but dont think because it is willed by the people that it is just simply going to happen. Your points and desires in this case are valid and therefore will most likely be adopted and acted on if we come to an agreement, but your question of whether this is dictatorship is treading shaky ground.

Ask yourself this when pursuing these changes:
1. Why am I wanting these changes made?
2. Is my suggested change going to impact the usage of this forum?
3. Am I bettering the forum, making no significant change, or dimishing this forum with the request for these changes?

I dont care personally what is done with stickies. I feel the selling one is important and when special events come along they need to be stickied too. But, as said before about that region in general, EVERYONE DISREGARDS THE AREA!!. it is virtually ignored!!! who cares if it changes or not.

Do you want our forum to look like..... THIS?????

you guys let me know when a consensus is made. I dont care and I am willing to do what is needed to make the MOST people happy. As of right now MOST people have not voted so that should tell you something.

Just because a couple dozen people have an opinion about a topic does not make it a valid one

-- Resource Thread (rename it to Florida and then people from other areas post more locations in it)
I really like this idea.
