Is there any way to fix a CEL?
Go to Advanced Autoparts or Autozone and get the code read for free. If you have an 00-01 the parts guy will need to know the OBDII port is above the passenger footwell next to the radio...other years are on the drivers side. They can clear the code once they pull the info.
Come back and tell us the code so we can help diagnose the issue causing the CEL.
Otherwise if you just want to clear it...you can reset the ECU:

Please don't reset the CEL if you don't know the code.

^^ He got the CEL from installing a TP without the mechanical o2 simulator.
Which is why I gave him just the instructions to clear only...I figured that if he had a problem with the car, he would have described it. So, I figured he may already know what caused the CEL...in this case, the TP.
