damnit lol, you are not helping me towards a more reasonable tire.....if i get re01's i swear to god my wrath will come down apon you all, probably in the form of thanks because they rock but because my bank account hates you, hey i have no choice..............

re-01r's are a little extreme for me i think ... especially for the price. I'm with Nate ... Kumho MX's seem to get good responses and hard to beat for the price. It's either that, Azenis, or my personal fave, AVS ES100.

... as usual, i'm on the fence.


i still have a little bit of time ... the wheels aren't 'painted' yet.

oh ya as a fyi the re01rs are pretty good in the wet and not too bad in pretty cold weather, and not florida cold either lol, i've moved up to South Dakota and I had to drive them around when it got under 40 a few times. The car is in storage now so I will give ya more details spring time

I ran the Kumho MX's at a track event in Gainesville. They held VERY well. Better than Hankook R-S2's and Avon Tech M500's without a doubt. They seem to be lasting alright too, as Nick (the guy I sold them to) is still using them on his S, and it's his daily.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering about the RS-2's and M500's as compared to the MX's.
