Just wondering if anyone in the North Florida, southern Georgia area can perform a proper valve adjustment on an AP1 with quality work and possibly a guarantee. For a bonus while the valve cover is off, would it be possible to perform a valve retainer inspection. please PM or reply here.

You need to come to a meet or post in the jax section- people think you totaled your car. I do valve adjustments but I have no free time so I wouldn't be able to do for a while.

 

Primogen - I'll take that into consideration. Next time I'm in Tampa I'll try to swing by and say hi.
DC2-2-ap1 - ya, I've been MIA for a long time. What I need to do is give the guys my womans # and have them convince her to go or let me go without grief lol. Eitherway, car is fine. Def. Not totaled by any means but the paint sure as hell is looking bad off. I'm just sucking it up and wondering when I'll get a chance to paint her. As for the valve adjustment, anytime is bettter than no time. As of now, I'm scheduyled to have them done at the next wake the dragon event by Billman as well as other quick tune-ups.

I don't think you'll find anyone here willing to do a "guarantee" unless they are a professional. You'll find several at meets who will do it with you for a lunch, though.

It is EASY. I did my own based off instructions from the net and $15 in tools from Amazon. If you're even remotely familiar with using hand tools, this is not a hard job.
