Do I get to take a nap during the 8 gears?

And the blue makes it look way better than the ivory.

Check out that video of "unrestrained", the car looks very unnatural while it is drifting.

In my opinion, this is not a good looking car at all. The car clearly was not designed to accommodate the V8 engine because it appears like the front subframe was lengthened to shoe-horn that lump under the hood. The F logo on the front wing is situated where it is to break up the vast expanse of metal around the rear of the front wheel well. The front overhang is huge, so much so that it creates a distorted balance to the car. From the profile, it is hard to figure out whether the car is rear or front wheel drive. The proportion of this part of the car reminds me of a lot of Audi products--even the R8--and I do not mean that as a compliment. The whole car has a somewhat aftermarket look to it, a criticism leveled against one of its chief competitors, the Merc C-class AMG 63. I also think that that the rear exhaust pipes look like something that did not come out quite right on a SEMA design special.

I am sure that the interior is well crafted and made of high quality materials. But at least in these pics, the interior looks like the shade of grey that GM has finally discarded. I still come back to saying that most dash boards look best when covered in a dark black material. There is nothing about this interior that would make me want to select it over an Audi or even a BMW. I frankly feel this is a step backward for Lexus, even compared to lesser IS 250s and IS 350s which I thought were as good as, if not better than, BMW's 3 Series interiors. Lastly, the blue hue to the instruments looks a touch cold, not at all techno nor urbane. VW has demonstrated that blue works well for the major instruments but with the accessory lighting with dark red LEDs.

i took back my deposit on the 135i for a number of practical reasons ... but, styling was sure one of them. I probably won't buy an ISF ... i'm gonna find a nice, low mileage, IS350. They are not as fast ... but, fast enough for a 4door IMO. Oh, and i think they do look better.

I think you're on crack. This is the most powerful car to ever come out of Japan...the chief engineer on the project is none other than Yukihiko Yaguchi, the genius behind the evolution of the Supra. He snuck this project through under the watchful radar of Toyota, and made a sports sedan that will flat throw down with its Bavarian competitors. I saw the car at the intl autoshow, and I loved every inch of it, save for the exhaust tips. This car has a 2 stage intake manifold that opens up the entire top at WOT above 3600 rpm, creating a monstrous howl unlike anything that's ever rolled out of a Japanese production facility. This car oozes testosterone. It's the car that "tuners" graduate to.

I love it.

i was under the impression that when you compare the ISF and M3 Sedan with nearly identical features ... the ISF was cheaper? Maybe i was talking to the wrong salesman (but, he was a BMW guy )

But ... in the end i still think BMW needs to revert back to a more 'classic' style. They haven't been well received by even BMW enthusiasts in the last 3 or 4 years with the new styling cues. The new 3series is just not as exciting as the E46's to me. Again ... it's just my opinion ... and you know that ain't worth crap!

Seriously ... i would rather have this:

than this:

notice how i didn't even show the rear of the new 7series

I just think that whoever made that new rear end should be shot. Most critics even said that it would take time ... but, we would all learn to love. I guess i'm stupid then cuz i haven't learned a thing!
