Well the pizza and company were great tonite!!! Thanks again to everyone for your support and help getting the car towed home.
Can't wait to see the pics! Looks like we'll be parting her out. I'll probably post pics and parts on here first then if I have to they'll go on ebay.
We'll keep everyone up on what's happening.

Debbie

Pics will be posted soon by SmagsS2k. Duane and I were on our way to pizza nite when smoke started coming out from under the hood. I pulled over and we jumped out. The smoke came coming and I turned and started walking away. I couldn't watch my car go up in smoke.... We don't know yet what caused it. It's a total loss and no full coverage so looks like I'm carless for awhile! I'll probably part her out.

Wow, that's crazy! Sorry to hear that.

Question, did you guys change the oil recently? Did you hear a popping sound first before it caught on fire?

Why do you ask - what goes (can go) pop after an oil change?

I'm w/ SmagsS2K on carrying a fire ext.

Sorry about your car Debbie - glad we could help get it home tho'
