Well it looks like the first part of the process could take up to 2 weeks to hear back on their initial ruling. We may even have to send in the oil pump. Anyone know if Honda has ever had any oil pump issues?

Maybe by the show we'll have an answer!!!

As far as I know there is not many problems with the oil pump.

IMHO Fram wants to see if the pressure relief valve was/is stuck on the oil pump causing a higher than normal oil pressure thus pushing the gasket out of the filter.

That's exactly what they may want to see depending on how the filter looks.
That's why we may have to send them the oil pump. We'll just take it one step at a time!
