What kinda oil is everyone using in their ride? I'm using Mobil 1 synthetic. Are there any oils that you all would recomend for the ride?

best transmission fluid for a Honda is:

Honda Manual Transmission Fluid. Honda MTF contains special additives designed specifically for Honda transmission. Ask your Honda mechanic about the bulletin containing the info.

 

For what it is worth I put synthetic oil in the tranny of my '90 CRX-Si and it changed the shift feel so much after 1,000 miles I dumped the fluid and went back to 10W-30 Honda juice.

My S2000 will be running with Honda fluids for a very long time because I will be buying the extended warranty and I just want to protect myself in case there is an issue later.

 

It's almost scary to me the # of s2k owners who have/had motorcycles and CRXs! Is this just a tremendous coincidence, or does liking these vehicles go hand-in-hand with liking the s2k's style?

 

The S2000 is just a four wheel motorcycle.

Before you change transmission fluid you should check out Modifry's thread. He experienced problems when replacing the fluid with Honda MTF. Not sure what the outcome was. Maybe he will see this thread and add his $.02.
