I've come up with the 6 stairs leading down to the landing with a total rise(or fall in this case) of 43.5" and a total run of 66". Resultant is 7.25" rise & 11" run per step. Landing will be ~ 21.5" off the ground, leaving two more stairs at the end(3 if you count the landing). Not sure how large I will need to make the landing though as it is r@!ning out right now- don't want to melt whilst taking mo' measurements.
Actually making the stairs is easy. It's the pre-planning/visualization that put its foot in my arse.
