Jeff, I like the concept of the soundbars a lot.

I had bought the Philips for my condo, but it just didn't do what I wanted it to; HDMI switching so I could wall mount the LCD, it didn't have enough inputs for all my crap, the DVD player actually arrived broken, etc...

I thought really long and hard about getting the Yamaha sound bar to go with my receiver, but with already owning the Boston Acoustics setup I just brought that up from my parents' place.
