Yeah I'm curious how long they'll have supply for. This afternoon will be the real hit when kids are not in school and their parents are home from work. My guess is most parents arent willing to (or don't think they have to) duck out of work to go to a store and pick it up
Not that I know anyone who did that

I saw the track list a few days ago and it doubled my enthusiasm for the game.... Enter Sandman??

If they release the rest of the black album for download (they've already announced a couple of tracks from And Justice for All).....
I must admit that I wasn't too impressed with the track list from the 2000's, but some of the tracks from the '90s are killer. Blackhole Sun anyone?
I played RB with some friends for about four hours this evening... I have to admit, I really like it. We haven't broken out the mic yet though. That piece of equipment scares me. It would probably look better with a few drinks in my system.
Anyone else do the band tour and notice that the same few songs keep coming up? Anyone know how to fix that?

Well score one for EA/Harmonix/MTVGames
I get home and while Rock Band is definitely very cool, some friends and I hook up my Guitar Hero III Les Paul to play some four player. Guess again.
Despite the fact that Harmonix had said for quite some time leading up to the launch that the GHIII controllers would work with RB, despite the fact that the box says its compatible with most music controlers (of which there is only one right now for PS3 the GHIII Les Paul), and despite the fact that the 360 Les Paul works, RB refuses to recognize the PS3's guitar as another guitar (just as a controller).
I called EA support and they informed me it wasn't compatible but the idiot girl on the phone could only say "I think they're working on it." I asked her what other controllers were compatible and she simply said I could sign up on their website and be informed when the Rock Band guitar comes out for sale (in '08).
I feel REALLY bad for anyone who bought the standalone PS3 version thinking they could play it, because apparently even though there is a stand alone version for PS3, there are no controllers that work for it (so why would they release it as well as the special edition box set)
