Sorry
. Knee jerk reaction. I have too many friends that are into Euro stuff. I'm too used to defending myself (usually while they're replacing some rotted German plastic part that ties the whole drivetrain together
).
Carry on with the ribbing

My feelings on the NSX are that it is an incredible car but just overpriced. I would not be able to get it as my primary car. I would need to be making A LOT of money where spending money on an NSX wouldn't really put a dent in my wallet, and would obviously be my weekend/hobby car.
It is a gorgeous car inside and out and performs beautifully...just not for the price IMO. But at the same time to a certain extent I feel that it is good that it is so expensive. It keeps it from falling into the hands of every day ricers and screwing up another great car from Japan (kinda like whats happening to the S2000 IMO).
Thanks. I understand your opinions on the car, but my love affair started a long time ago and only intensified once I found one I could bring home. It's been over a year of ownership and the passion is stronger than ever.
The car can do no wrong in my eyes
(well, except for the absence of a power top. oh well
).

Chad also seems to forget that to have an NSX worked on he won't have any hook-ups. He works for a dealership that sells Porsche, and I can hook him up with the best Porsche tech on the East Coast: Lutzo.

Like I said, unless you are VERY well off financially, I dont think the NSX or any other even remotely exotic car is something you should consider... and that includes Porsche and specifically Carreras. Although they may not be "exotic" looking like the NSX, they are still high performance specialty machines... they require extra attention and TLC...and well...they're German,
