Did you know that not only are they the largest auto auction, but that they are owned now by COX cable???? Cox just bought out Landmark for full ownership of Autotrader.... Cable is where the money is. Didn't find any in my portfolio

Chad:

Very nice, and the right options!

Nice price and miles.

If I were you, this one might be me.

I like the second one. The third one... why would you have to replace the alternator or any belts after only 5 years (max)? Is that a common problem with kraut cars?

Yep - including Bimmers, VW's, and MB's. When you don't drive them even some Japanese cars *cough* Honda *cough* have the same issues. Keep in mind that car is 6 years old Evan.

It's 6 years old now, but how long ago did he replace the alternator? I've never had an alternator go on any of my cars, just one Chevy Beretta of my friends, and my cars typically have a good amount of auto drawing power.
I did replace the alternator on the Subaru, but only to see if it would resolve an electrical issue I was having. It was a short in the alarm though. But thanks for the info.

You've been lucky - I've been through alternators on my old: Altima, Jeep, Tacoma, Prelude, and the M3. I've replaced belts on: Jeep, Prelude, S2000, E30, and the M3.

This is pretty common and trivial stuff. I'd be more concerned if there was an engine replaced or something along those lines.

There is a phone number - I'm sure he can email them to you. C4S in the 996 body is sexy. It is my favorite look on the 911's
