I am in the near process of building my diff with 4.56's. I am still gathering my parts, I was wondering if anyone here has some hands on experience? Currently I have a extra pumpkin (thanks to Marc2), gears, and a HTG gear install kit. The only other thing I can think of is the shim kit. I have had some experience working with other gear applications and the tools that will be needed to do the job, but I am not an expert and I am willing to take all the help I can get. Any input would be great..

 

a vise on a sturdy table helps if you dont have a good impact gun.

 

I would agree, the diff is an akward shape to handle.
