Default blew out my diff

So my00 has 103k miles on it and i blew out my rear diff today. I am not sure how bad it is all i know is that the car does not move but there is a loud clunking sound coming from the diff housing. I was wondering what all i would need to rebuild the diff. I was going to put 4.77 final drive gear set in it. And I was going to order the Final Drive Gear installation parts from hardtopguy.com I was also going to purchase the side bearing, side stub shaft seals, and the factory shim kit. Is there anything else that I am going to need with this. I am getting the gear set from kia as discussed in the gearing thread. thanks for any help i can get.

You better be a pro at diff installs if you're going to try and put together new internals. If you shim them wrong, you will munch the new diff as well...

Cheaper to buy a complete used pumpkin for $500 of the FS forum.

Time for the 4.77s, might as well. Why risk blowing the weak ass diff again, do it right this time, while upgrading. It'll save more hard-ache in the future and add a smile on your face when you floor it with your 4.77s. Just my .02 cent

im not going to rebuild the diff myself. Im going to have it done at a shop. Not sure exactly where yet. I just ordered all the stuff from hardtopguy.com for the build and a new yellow box as well. I also just ordered the kia 4.77 gear set. I am in southern orange county california if anybody knows a good place to go for the install i would be much apreciative of it. I figure three to four hours of labor is about what i should be looking to pay for if im not mistaken.
