when you feel the "jerk jerk jerk" what is your response? Do you keep the throttle the same? Give it more gas? or let off? In my case my car doesn't die it just keeps bucking if keeping the gas at the same rate or even giving it a little more. I'd imagine that if I eased off the throttle my car would die...
My response is giving it progressively more gas and pushing the clutch in slightly. Jerks are so forceful sometimes and I feel like the car's gonna die, but it hasn't so far. I don't recall this ever happening with my stock intake. I just installed the KN FIPK about 1K miles ago. I'm not sure if this just excerbated it.

Again, this occurs only in the afternoon and my car's fully warmed up. Happens often in stop/go traffic, in parking lots looking for parking, etc.

the hondata intake manifold gasket as well as mugen thermostat, fan switch and rad cap helps a lot with the bogging issue especially in our hot climate.

But spanks you have the upgraded ecu right? Isn't this a problem w/ the a/f ratio?

When it comes to the k&n I have it too been on there for like 15k or so and I don't think it makes it that much worse...honestly I just clutch it and go w/ more gas. I learned that it hapens for me at around 2k or if I'm going between 10-13mph in 1st slowly in traffic don't worry you see it's a common problem and there's sollutions as well if it really bothers you. No worries

Yeah, it happened a couple times before I got the gears, ECU, and cooling mods. Either that or it was just driver error on my part but I noticed before that on hot days sitting in traffic, it'd always bog off the start. I learned to deal with it afterwards but with the mods now, it doesn't happen.
