jus wondering, are there any aftermarket decks i could change to and still have the audio controls to work?? i would want to add an mp3 deck, but i like having those controls there.

 

you have to get a 3rd party interface to get the stock audio controls to work with an aftermarket deck. i think you can find it in the s2ki marketplace.

 

I think if you do a search you might be able to find that there is a certain ALPINE deck that lets you keeps your dash controls. If not I know of two choices. There is DJQUBE dash controls that uses the remote control for you HU, you have to send him your dash control and remote and he will wire them up for you and then send them back, this cost around 200 + shipping. Or you can get on a waiting list and send him just your remote and he will hook your remote up to someone's old dash control and send that to you. Then you have to send him your dash control within 2 weeks. The other option that I know of is to get Modifry's Dash Control Interface which is 100 and it just wires into the back of your deck. This is the one that I should have in my car in about 1 week. I really do miss the dash controls.

 

gah ok, i think i'll keep the stock deck for awhile longer. yes i really like those controls, and i would probably leave that radio cover up anyway.

 

I can't stand not being able to use my controls right now. My DCI should be here this week. I HOPE
