Default New HU Delivered

So my new HU just arrived with all the goodies:

- JVC KD-AHD59 (HD Radio built in)
- Sirius Tuner/direct add on
- Modifry DCI
- Modifry PNP harness

I am lanning the install for next weekend when I have more time. I am not a newbie to audio install but just had some mounting location questions.

Where will be the best place to mount the Sirius Tuner & interface & antenna? Just want an idea before I roll up my sleeves

Thanks!

as far as the ant, its best if mounted outside, so prolly on the rear trunk lid, the sat unit we all know there is not enough space to put anything in, so try putting it under the seat with velcro thats where mine is at.

no idea which tuner you got, but if you got the new mini one(small black box controlled by the HU), then you can try to stuff it beside the headunit (if enough space, I haven't tried) or hide it inside the passenger side dash.

For the antenna, it needs a clear view to the sky. To avoid any possible annoyances, I'd mount it in the far upper driver's or passenger's side of dash(the windshiled & A pillar corner away from passengers). Again, I have no idea which antenna came with your kit, but I am assuming you have the little 1 square inch antenna.
