Default Vert Top wind noise Adjustable?

I just bought a virgin 2000 with 26K on it and i love it. Best car i ever bought.
I am having a bit of a problem with the convertible top though. When I go over 75 MPG, it howls right where it seals with the windshield. I checked out the latches and there is no adjustment in them to make them pull tighter. When i reach up and pull down on the roof a little it goes away. I just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem and if so how they fixed it. I was thinking about making a spacer to move the female side of the latch down a little bit but id really like to know if there is a less ghetto fix out there.

try some shinxu grease on the seals or you could get some heat shrink and increase the width of the hooks that latch in

1/4 inch plastic tubing over the hooks will give you the needed tightening. Very inexpensive fix.

A more "Honda" fix would be to install the strikers used with the hardtop, as these are stronger/stiffer than the softtop ones. If the tubing works for you, though...

I have the same problem as you. Honda is currently replacing the latch or "Strykers" are now. I will let you know if this fixes the wind noise.

I had the same problems, and it seems that the latches and strikers aren't the best quailty and that is what's causing the problems. I fixed my problem by adjusting the position of the top in the up poition slighty so it stopped a bit further than normal, so when I close the top, it makes a tighter connection. However, I think both need to be replaced, and as someone else mentioned, using the hardtop strikers are better.
