I am getting an ACT pressure plate and was wondering which disk to go with, the OEM one or the street disk that ACT offers. I'm probably getting a supercharger soon but for now I just want more gripping power. Is there much of a difference because I can get the OEM one fo 70 bucks while ACT wants 150 or so.

I don't launch at high RPM's much but, when I did try it once with the stock clutch, it completely slipped.

 

the ACT is a reworked stock clutch. get something better like a Star or Clutchmaster.

 

I thought the only "reworked" part of the ACT clutch was the pressure plate. Isn't the ACT clutch disk a regular OEM disk?

I thought most of the clutches including clutchmaster were all reworked stock clutches. I dont know much about star clutches.
Exeddy was the only company that said there clutches werent reworked.

I thought everyone recomended the act pressure plate and stock disk?
