I have a squeak in the driver's side seatbelt. It comes from where the shoulder strap rubs on the top of the seat after going through the guide and heading down toward the buckle. It took me a while to figure out that it was the seat belt. I kept thinking it was the seat or the top. I guess I need to put something on the leather or on the belt where they contact each other. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Do a search on the topic. There are several solutions on the board. The simplest thing to do involves attaching black felt to the belt guide. Good luck.

Mine does this too, most annoying thing about the car. I wouldn't use WD-40 though, try some 10W-30 instead.

Thanks for the thread reference purdue2k2. I'll have to find a piece of felt or leather to tuck under the seat belt guide. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
