Default CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT

Sorry to ask this silly question but i'm only a new owner of the S2000 (second hand and no warranty now) and was wondering if you can adjust the friction point of the clutch.
I have to release my foot a fare way from the floor so the clutch engages.
Please help...

I answered this very question a few hours ago in another thread:

I asked the dealer when I bought MY03 if they can adjust the clutch a bit lower for me, they said it can't be done. Now I know I can even do it myself, guess it's the same way to do in MY05, right?

I also got rid of the slack at the throttle cable. Got to love all these DIY mods, free, but have a huge impact on driving experience.

Thanks for for the great info, xviper.

I've not seen the clutch pedal personally, but I can't imagine that Honda would have changed that part in any way.
I'm surprised that a brand new '05 would need a pedal adjustment. Make sure the fluid level is OK and the clutch function is otherwise good. I'm of the opinion that adjusting the pedal to plunger rod should be the last thing to be attempted when trying to correct any irregularities.

Dealer service writers ......................... Too bad they don't make them learn about the cars they write up.

No, nothing wrong with mine, it feel a bit higher than(the already high) pre '04, so I just want the friction point and paddle travel distance to be lower, that's all.

The reason why I worry about is because MY04+ has this thing that delay the clutch engage to keep the engine fall back within VTEC range when shift at redline. I don't know if it has anything to do with this mod' or not, well, guess I'll wait till I'm sure about it then. Thanks again, XV.

Sorry, Rav.., didn't mean to hi-jack your tread, and hope you got yours fix, 'bro.
