Right top convertible Clip Rattling?
Anyone else have this problem? The car is still under warranty so do you think I should bring it in? The right clip to the convertible top clicks and rattles.

Padding the latches as described in this service bulletin did it for me.

That sounds like metal to metal rattle from the front side catcher.
Here is the fix, it work for me for over 37k miles. I just cut a 1/2 inch black square felt tape or double side tape and tape it in the cavity on the windshield side where the alignment pins sits.
This will dampen and eliminate any metal to metal noise and wear.
No more noise at all now. Even really rough roads.
Hope this helps.

another choice-
i use a very small amount of the tube that you get from the fish tank supply (pet supply) store. the tube that carries air into a fish tank. its cheap, and easy to use. cut a very small piece, put it on the finger of your top latch and you are done!!
