I went on the crutchfield site, they say there may be a gap and, the door might not close if i get this HU.

Hoping someone has any exp w/ this unit or please suggest me something similar because this HU is awesome

This is the warning i get

•The new radio will be installed using its trim ring and the factory side brackets.
•A slight gap around the face of the receiver will be visible after installation.
•You won't be able to close the factory radio cover if you install a stereo with a fold-out faceplate or a protruding faceplate.

man I used to be a die hard Kenwood buyer but I tried that deck and in my opinion it was crap so I returned it and I went with this pioneer check out my post

I have it in my car when my old HU died. It sort of fits. The trim piece that goes around the headunit doesn't really fit properly. In addition the flip down cover will hit the volume knob when you open the cover. All it does it bring up the NF screen when you hit the volume knob.

The headunit is hard to use though. I'm not sure I would buy it again.
