gps hardwire diy?

Default gps hardwire diy?

can any one sho me how to hardwire a gps so that it comes on when the car comes on and turns off when the is turned off?

there are three spare spades in the fuse box one for constant power one for keyed power (the one you want) and one i think when the lights come on

simply install the ground and then select the proper spade BUT make sure you use an inline fuse

what do you mean by using a inline fuse along with the proper spade?

Device needs to be fused. GPS typically plugs into the "cigarette lighter" port and the GPS plug has a fuse in it. Since you won't be using that plug you need a fuse. Remove what's in there and get a fuse of the same amperage. Or just plug it in the rear of the console and run the cord forward. In the S2000 that plug is ignition controlled.
