from 07 si (fg2) to Ap1?
Hey guys I totaled my 07 si 2 weeks ago and I've been looking for a fun to drive used car and I have came down to two choices: si (fg2) and s2k (ap1). I found a bunch of Ap1's in the low $10,000's but had around 110,000 miles on them. Is this still a good buy? and would the car last upto at least 200,000 miles considering the car has been pretty well maintained? I really want to cruise top down on the roads of sunny southern california but if the car I get isn't going to last long, then I might have to go with the si again. And also, does anyone know the which car's insurance rate would be more for AAA insurance? ( 01 s2000 or a 06 civic si coupe). thanks

buy my 2005 AP2. 50,000 miles. Rio Yellow. Im selling it for $16,500. Thats just a little above trade in value.
It has a new transmission installed by honda (a recall) and a new rear end installed by honda! the motor is stout! i have taken really good care with it: changing the fluids more then suggested, detox at a good interval!

I came to an S2K from an FG2 (I didn't total mine, just sold it) as well. My insurance was the slightest bit less when I switched to an S2000 of the same year, surprisingly. I really miss having all of the space of the Civic, but I've never enjoyed a car as much as my S2K; Of course, just be sure to check maintenance on the S2000 (or Civic) you go for, but personally, I would say go for the S2K. Coming from an FG2, I have no regrets about buying mine -- But space can be an issue.
