Default $10.29

Well I've had my S2K for about two weeks now and I kept hearing something that sounded like change sloshing around. So I look under the seat and notice that there had been some holes cut in the carpet, the previous owner probably had his amp mounted under the seat.(I know it had a system) So this idiot cuts holes in the carpet and has me thinking that theres a bunch under there. So today I remove the seat, anti theft module and some panels. What do I find? One quarter and one dime and a valve stem cap that went to my other car yay!! lol. So I know theres a stash of cash somewhere. I start ripping all the interior panels out to find it. The two peice panel that covers the roll bars behind the seats were already removed so that made things easier. So I take out the center "glove box" between the seats, I still dont see anything and this is pissin me off. So I take out the center console cover and lo and behold I see some change down where the e brake cable goes from the inside of the car to the outside. So I spend half the day trying to get it out with a scredriver, there is no possible way to get your hand in there, beleive me I tried. Unless your A) a girl or B) a child. So with no women or children around I venture off to the biggest parking lot I can think of at a church about 3 miles from my house. So Im out there doing a skidpad test trying to get the change to sling out of this crevace. I eventually got it all $7 in quarters, $2.70 in dimes, $.15 in nickels, and $.44 in pennies. But before I could get it all Satan opened the gates of hell and this horrific rain was heading my way. So I think I better go home. I hit the closest road and on my way out of the parking lot lightning hits about 500 yards behind me, I practically jumped out of the car. Im thinking I should put the top up. But I think I can outrun it if I head north. Well turns out the lightning hit a tree on the very road I was turning on and the road was completely blocked. So I take another road all the while the rain is getting closer and closer with more wicked lightning( this is tornado weather around here in Ky) So it starts to drip and I start hauling A$$ to get under cover after realizing the button to put the top up is laying in my garage at home. It starts to rain harder and I'm 100 ft from the gas station and it starts pouring, I left my shirt at home so here I am trying to call my buddy that has an S to see if I can manually put the top up, of course he doesnt know anything about it. By this time I'm soaked the inside of my car is soaked, people are looking at me like WTF thats a nice car lol. I finally get into the gas station and have to leave my car with a gutted interior there for an hour, call my friend to come take me home to get the button to put the top up. What a day! I had to get that off my chest. One good thing I managed to get all the change out, there were over 100 coins in this crevace man the guy who owned this thing was such a tard. He also drilled holes into the floorboard of the car to mount his friggin amp. I could kick him in the ...well tx for reading I had to vent. lol sry for the length and hopefully I didnt post in the wrong spot

First of all Welcome aboard, and congrats on your purchase. That one crazy story, I wonder how all of the change ended up under your console.

That's a great story man, I could totally imagine all of that. That remided me of when I was working on my center console and I left the switches out to get to school one day and noticed that signals do not work.

Great story. The previous owner probably thought the tooth fairy was stealing his change.

Im guessing the previous guy just threw his change in that little spot behind the cup holder and when the lid was open for the holder change fell down in there. Either that or the space around the e-brake.
