Bought my S2K today
Thanks guys, I got home from a 150 mile excursion today and I'm still glowing. What a pure joy it is to drive my new S. The weather was around 35 degrees and the sun was shinning. The roads were acually fairly clean.
One question for you guys... I put the top down today and thought the removable dust cover was a real pain to work with so I just left it off. It doesn't fit the form of the read deck very well and the back of it doesn't stayed tucked in between the trim and the soft top hardly if at all. Have any of you guys also wrestled with this? Are there any aftermarker manufacturers that make a "better" cover? I've seen the hard covers that form up to the head rests but I don't care much for them.
I would love a hard top but they are pretty spendy... even from hardtopguy.
peace

I had alot of trouble with mine as well. The dealer told me that it gets easier as the cover stretches (seasoned owners could verify). I had better luck installing the back first (under the trim) and then the snaps.

An HT is a real win for bad weather climes, though. I wish I had one, but then again when the temps go up into the 20s and 30s I like to put the top down. I know it wears the top out a little bit, but there's nothing like the brisk air in a winter drive.
