New owner! 2006 AP2
Happy to report that I'm the proud new owner of a silver on black/red 2006 AP2!!!
Unlike many new owners, I was only searching for an S2K for a few WEEKS when this beauty, the exact color combo I wanted, came on the scene, and the seller was only 15 miles from my house... Talk about luck! The car was posted in the For Sale section of this site on Friday night and a feeding frenzy immediately ensued. By Saturday afternoon, the seller had half a dozen people clamoring for the car, bidding over asking price and offering to wire money immediately. Being local was a huge advantage as I was able to get in front of the seller quickly. We came to an agreement over the weekend and finalized it today.
The car is bone stock and has 13,8XX miles. The first owner was an older doctor, and the second owner (who sold it to me) is a very meticulous car guy who had it stored on a lift at his residence and barely drove it. The thing is pristine. I swear, you could eat off ANY surface of this car. All fluids flushed and replaced recently, brand new tires, and otherwise perfect except for the typical roof tear that plagues these cars, which I'll be patching up.
Looking forward to lots of miles and lots of smiles, and becoming a part of the S2K community!

Welcome to the forum! Beautiful car you found. Actually, you just bought my car except it's one year older! Last month I bought a 2007 silverstone/red/black interior with 6,400 miles and a repaired small tear on the top. Just got back from "Tech Days" via Delaware Valley S2000 Members/March 26-29 Round 5. Billman250/Long Island NY owns garage and specializes and only works on S2000's. Twice a year he comes down to Allentown and will service your car with whatever it needs.....new clutch/trans, valve job, drain all fluids ect,ect. He's a great guy and know the S2000 inside and out. Might be worth the drive if you're looking for an S2000 mechanic. Anyway, enjoy this great car as I have so far!

Welcome, you just bought a new car, amazing! I was looking at cars just like that until I made the mistake of finding and then going to Ft. Worth from Maryland to see my new-to-me in January fire breathing monster! I felt great about only 40K miles and so far all is great. You didn't say where you were, looks like Florida or CA?
