Yeah, it's a Nissan motor out of an S15. I'm not even sure if that swap is do-able on the S. Is it? Even if it was, I wouldn't want it. I want my next car (or second car) to have a NA motor in it. As far as it being legit, all I can say is I've been 100% honest in giving the information I have been told.

I'm sure if the car gets put back together, she'd let it go even when she's away. I'll have to find out the details on that. It would be cool to see one of you guys that can get this car going right steal it at an awesome price. I'll make sure that this forum and it's users have first dibs as soon as it's officially for sale. Guess it wouldn't hurt to ask her if she'd let it go as-is...she's just been so persistant in getting it working right first, for me at least.

 

part correct, The sr20 came in s13-s15 chassis plus a few other nissan cars. There are different varients of the SR depending on the year. Redtop, Blacktop and the s15 Sr with the 6 speed trans and bb turbo. You can buy kits to swap the SR into the s2k but i dont know why anyone would.

The sr20 plus swap kit and ecu and labor alone is more costly than an f20c. And the fact your ex was like yeah thats fine just goes to show. $5k for an s2000 you serious,... The seats , cluster, dash, and wheels alone are about $2500 to the right buyer. What a joke. And another tging why would you for a second go from an all wheel drive monster to a rwd s2k ?? Seriously the $5k you were gonna spend on the s is $5k you can put towards the evo, then refinance the loan for a lower payment, since you did say you were spending alot on it.
