Default Buying an S2K

Hi, I am looking to purchase an S2000 in the next couple of months, hopefully an 02/52 reg. Could somebody tell me what to look for when buying used please? I currently own a Civic Type-R so I know how good Honda's reliability is, although I hope the S2000 is better screwed together than the CTR (probably is because it's not made in the UK!!) I heard something somewhere about seized bushes being a problem, sounds worrying? Also, does the S2000 need super unleaded and how much is Servicing and Tyres please? Sorry for all the questions!

Some stuff you can look for are... checking for all Vin#s, CARFAX, let a mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchase, service records, test drive etc...

Use the highest gasoline octane there is. You can use lower octane if in case of emergency untill you fine the highest octane (premium). You will feel lack of performance if you decide to use lower octane.

Service doesn't cost too much IMO but check your local Honda Service Center. Most of the servicing you can do it yourself...

Tires depends on brand and etc.
check out www.tirerack.com

Hope it helped.. Goodluck.

And check if the recalls were performed.
Oil squirters is an important one.
Rear axle nut torque.
(just to name the ones I know without searching)
Are you going to buy private or at a dealer?
An official Honda dealer should be able to provide all the data about recalls.

Make sure the steering wheel is at the proper side
