On the advice of more experienced people, I switched to carbotech XP10s up front and XP8s on the rear. I experienced 0 fade at the track with this set up.

I do a lot of autox, and the general opinion is that the AP2 is the better choice. Although I think this year an AP1 bagged 1st place at the nationals.
Once I'm more comfortable with the car the plan is to start doing time trials and eventually prep it for SCCA T3.

also check if you have the oil bolts with 4 jets. The early models had oil bolts with 2 jets which is not enough if you track the car. i think 2002 was the year that they switched. If you search S2ki you should find more info on these topics.




Still haven't found the right AP2 though.
