congrats on the switch man, your old car was sick, but the s2 is a hard car to compare to in terms of how much fun it is. Take care.

The fun factor and feeling of quality is off the charts. I am already in love. Remember my old car had a rental car interior and looked like a rice box!

On the advice of more experienced people, I switched to carbotech XP10s up front and XP8s on the rear. I experienced 0 fade at the track with this set up.
are these track only pads?

I do a lot of autox, and the general opinion is that the AP2 is the better choice. Although I think this year an AP1 bagged 1st place at the nationals.

Once I'm more comfortable with the car the plan is to start doing time trials and eventually prep it for SCCA T3.

I plan to pick up some kind of intake, a set of wider rims and run a 235 x 255 setup on some r888s or ra1s.
Just make sure you install a baffeled oil pan to prevent oil starvation if you use these tires on the track.
also check if you have the oil bolts with 4 jets. The early models had oil bolts with 2 jets which is not enough if you track the car. i think 2002 was the year that they switched. If you search S2ki you should find more info on these topics.
