the OEM pads do suck and are not track worthy. even worse in hard canyon driving. the hawk HP plus are a better pad, but i still get fade from them after about 4 laps at streets of willow. i recommend a dedicated track pad. i will probably try the project Mu 9100 series (i think thats the name) next. they are not a dedicated track pad, but they are my last resort before going to a dedivated track pad and swapping them out for each track day. jacking the car up and taking the wheels off take longer than actually swapping out the pads in this car...

have fun with the RWD...i have had FWD and AWD cars on the track...this is my 2nd RWD and its very fun sliding the back end out on the track and correcting it....when it goes smoothly that is

evo8, PM me your engine number (if you don't mind), it's printed on the engine block... I'll find out. I used to have the TSB with the information...

The 4-hole jets started mid-year....

A lot of people from the Evo community are buying S2000s now.
Or S2000 peeps buying Evo`s. Both are great cars... I recently picked up mine a month ago. Congrats on the s2000, ive owned mine for 3.5 years and not a single issue.... I`ve left mine bone stock, except for the Audio part. U shouldnt have any problems with your s2k.

do you still have ur evo 9? If so, all u need is a good tune, turbo back exhaust and u can have 400hp on 91 octane and ull only need to spend about 1-1.5k. Thats all u need, perhaps some nice 2 piece rotors and tires, but other than that the rest is good to go.
