Alpine CDE 172 BT just go to Alpine web site and put in the model and make of you car
it will show you everything that fits an S2000. As far as the dash control interface just
go to Modifry's website an order the Alpine interface control setup. I did not install mine
i had a stereo shop do it.
Thanks.
Yeah, and I'm still debating doing it myself or having a shop do it.
I just went and had a look, seems like all the stuff I'm wanting. And all your dash controls work including the mute?
And I just noticed its discontinued, I'll have to do some shopping/searching
Thanks.

Yes it all works.Modifry has DCI for Panasonic too.
Of course you will or you'd not have bought the car. Interstate on-ramp where you need to merge into fast moving traffic can fool ya. I had no clue what happened when I suddenly lost power the first time with this car. The beeps just warn me when it's coming. No time to watch the tach in these instances.

This is all true!! I got into the V-TECH the other day just for fun and to check it out.. WOW..
Well After a little short of a year later I have switched cars, sold the S2000 and bought a Lexus SC430! Nothing wrong with the S2000 it's just that the SC430 is a better fit for us, better for more comfortable top-down long distance cruising which is what we were wanting in addition to little weekend cruises. Thanks to those here that helped me out, you are a good group of folks! For kicks a couple pics if you aren't familiar with the SC430.
