also have the oem trunk spoiler so thats a good start.

2000-2001 didnt come with glass in rear for those year so ask why did they chage the top?
yeah, I noticed the new top, I think it's aftermarket. I'm not sure why it was changed, but I'm glad cuz I didn't want a plastic window, lol. The sales guy didn't seem to know a lot about the history of it, more than one owner, the last guy who owned it kept it in a garage and traded it in on a new Camaro. That's all I got outta him. I'll try to get better pics tomorrow.

Yeah new top with glass is Great but i don't know about this car....it had black or carbon fiber emblems and now the saleman man said the old owner traded it in for a new camaro? then He 99% probably dog the hell out of that car!

Front bumper looks like it may have been repainted because I do not see the OEM VIN sticker on the rectangle tab (3rd picture, bottom right hand side)

The price is too much. Look further from home and make a trip out of it.
I flew to Ohio from Orlando to get my first s2000. I wouldn't pay 13k for an 01 especially not yellow. The top has been replaced not a biggie. 00-01 have more issues than 02-09 why not take more time and find a better car/deal.
Good luck either way

I like yellow.

what other issues are there that I should look out for? I've been reading a lot about them and my brain is now fried.

there is actually no vin stickers on either fender. a car with no chips with that high of mileage is very suspicious unless it has a clear bra or was immaculately maintained and has all service records. do yourself a favor and get a carfax. i say that car is worth around 9000-10000 if clean title and no damage whatsoever. yellow is not a high in demand color either (you can use that to help you negotiate a better price) i paid 10K for my 2002 (spa yellow also) with 70K, came with J's racing 60RS exhaust (also have stock exhaust) as only mod. dont get too emotionally attached to this one car just in case. good luck either way.

oh yeah, drove 6 hours one way to get mine.

i think its been resprayed if there are no chips. Mine has 68k and has chips on it and you can tell.

look at the windshield to see if it has chips/crators/sratches/ road abuse. If you see it is showing 70k then the front has to have been resprayed.
