Future Owner checking in
Hey guys, I'm a long time S2K fan and I'm finally going to have the opportunity to buy one. I was obsessed with them when they first came out, but I couldn't afford to buy one since it would have been my first car. I've been contemplating selling my current car for some time now, and I finally decided to do it. I drive a 2-seater turbo Scion tC, and it's just annoying the hell out of me. I could never go anywhere with friends because I have no back seats, it's loud as hell (open dump and full 3" exhaust), I can't make use of the power because of a lack of traction (~300/300 at the wheels and no limited slip), etc etc. Instead of dumping another $6,000 into the car to get an LSD and much better tires, I've decided to just sell it. I also just picked up a 1995 Honda Accord EX Sedan that I restored (paint was a disaster, brakes didn't work, interior a mess) and I'm in love with the car. It's such a simple car, gets 28mpg on the highway and has a nice smooth ride. I started driving that a lot and the tC has been sitting around, and I'm making payments on the tC...so I'm seeing it as wasted money. Anyway...I was planning on getting a WRX, GTI, or Si, but then I remembered about the S2K. I looked up used ones and the 04-06 models were right in my price range, so now I just need to get rid of the Scion and find the perfect S2K.
Here's some pics of my tC, Accord and the S2K that my tuner owns.
Accord.
The horrible blemish/swirl marks that covered the car. (left side is wet, right is dry)

After 4 hours of buffing and polishing. The blemish is still there some, but A LOT better.

Got some new wheels. The car had 18" chrome wheels on it when I bought it, which had 4 different tires and were mostly shot. Decided to go back to OEM size tires/wheels for a smooth/quiet ride, and just settled on some cheap ass Motegi's. I figured with this much sidewall, I shouldn't have to worry about denting these cheapo wheels.

Planning on painting the bumper soon and picking up JDM headlights since these are really foggy and one is cracked (won't pass inspection).

This is PTuning's tC. They're the guys that tuned my car and they gave me the bumper/wing off their Time Attack tC. Easily one of the best tuning shops in the country.

This is the tuner at PTuning's personal S2K. I don't have many details on the car...I don't know what year it is, but from the interior, it has to be 00-02. Has AP2 headlights, tails, and bumpers and from what the shop owner told me, it's making 485WHP on 93 octane with no meth on their in-house Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno.

I'm not 100% sure what I want for my S2K yet. I absolutely love AP2 GPW's with the OEM hardtop, but I have a feeling that's going to be quick the difficult selection to find. I'm starting to like NFR more and more, plus I like the black interior more than the tan, which was the only color avail for 04-06 GPWs.
