Hi all i am new to this site and was wondering if the gear selection on my 2001 s2k is in need of attention i git a bit of a notch or slight resistance on selection?

Also not sure if i am getting clutch slip when in ve-tech or is it just pure high rev connection!

This is my first S2k and it will not be my last.

It the only one i have ever driven so cant comper it.

Try changing the tranny fluid. I use Honda MTFv2.

 

mine is the same way and I've changed from whatever was in it to the Redline MT-85 stuff. It definetly has helped because it felt like a brick wall before, but it is still not butter smooth so I am in for an answer as well.

 

 

Being a new owner I am dealing with this too. I recently had my tranny oil changed to the honda mtf. It helped quite a bit. Once the car has been running for a bit,it gets alot better. One thing you might look into is the lubing of the tranny shifter. There is a post on this site somewhere about it.
