The 07 does have some nice upgrades from the 04.

However, the main reason why I would buy an 07 over an 04 is for laguna blue. I couldn't get myself to pay an extra $3k when I was buying my car so I got a new 05 instead of a new 06.

in stock form the 07 has better tuning out of the box and IS in fact 'zippier' More power throughout the powerband FTW. Plus you can do the HONDATA reflash and get more power.

Must be nice. none of that for my 04.
All AP2s are the same powerwise.

The AP2 also had the two cup holder with divider thing.

Major difference is VSA and DBW for the 07. Question is, are those two things really worth thousands of dollars... Thats why I have my 04 :-)

Any car can be equiped with a air bag cut off switch btw.

Its not hard to install the airbag cut off. Also, an 04 or 05 can get heated seat bottoms and backs, but the 06+ you can only get passenger bottom b/c of the airbag sensor.

The power is the same in both cars, but the 04 does weigh a tad bit less, not that that matters much. The 07 might feel tighter because it doesn't have a loose throttle cable like the 04 may have...

Hondata has an ecu swap for the 04-05 I believe that will give you more power and the 9k redline.... I think.

Big deciders for me would be outside color, seats, VSA and DBW. If you want VSA, I'd get an 07.

I have an 06 steering wheel on my S and I can't tell the difference between it and my original 04, butthey are different.

i test drive an 07 just now.

I like the Drive by wire. The feel is smooth.

I didnt get to test the VSA, but whatever lol.

Powerwise. It was about the same. My04 has a CAI so mine felt more powerful. but otherwise they feel exactly the same powerwise. though supposedly the 06/07 has better tuning.

I just really wish the 04/05 had the flashable ECU. That for me spells much better tuning options for a DD in the future once tuners figure a way to reflash the ecu for turbos.
